Flux Productions are a Brighton-based media production company specialising in the arts. Our team, in collaboration with Wax Dance Company, have taken on an exciting project fusing stunning visuals with contemporary movement to create an edgy but vibrant performance. Flux Productions, founded in 2011 have already built themselves a reputation, and has been featured in various publications including The Guardian's Guide magazine.
Wax Dance Company are a highly original dance company whose explosive, quirky and innovative choreography challenges the stereotypes maintained within mainstream contemporary dance.
Wax's Richly textured work gives a unique insight into society and popular culture and as a consequence their work bridges the gap between the commercial and subsidised sectors, breaks down barriers and makes dance accessible to everyone.
As well as the company members having undeniably strong performance skills, they are also experienced in creating work for camera, and combine the two disciplines to create an original and stimulating mixture of live performance and film.
By combining stimulating live performance with visual installation, Wax's work is guaranteed to satisfy both the dance intellectual and the casually interested.
